Kirana Labs partnered with a leading BWT distributor in Mexico to develop web & mobile applications that streamlined their complex operations and facilitated the expansion of their franchise network integrating CRM, service management, inventory, and dynamic reporting.
Leading the Way in Water Treatment Solutions
EuroWater is a Best Water Technology (BWT) distributor in Mexico and is a well-established company specializing in water treatment products and related services. With a vision to expand their market presence, they aimed to initiate a franchise development plan across the country.
Overcoming Operational Hurdles in Water Treatment and Franchise Management
EuroWater encountered obstacles in launching its franchise development plan. Without a unified system, managing the scalability and operational complexity of multiple franchises was challenging. The diverse nature of their product line, each with unique maintenance and post-sale service requirements, further complicated the operational workflow. Additionally, the absence of integration with third-party communication and payment services impeded seamless business processes. These issues needed resolution to ensure the successful rollout and management of new franchises across the country.
To address these issues, we crafted a tailored software solution to support the distributor’s franchise development plan effectively.
Technology Stack:
Web Application: Utilizing React, Next.js, KeystoneJS, and PostgreSQL, we built a robust web application for administrative users and sales agents. This application serves as the central hub for managing all business aspects.
Mobile Application: A dedicated mobile application was created for field technicians. This app enables them to handle customer-facing tasks such as installations and maintenance efficiently, featuring custom forms tailored to the specific characteristics of various products and services.
Integration:
The system integrates seamlessly with third-party communication and payment services, ensuring a unified and efficient operational workflow.
Development Process:
We started the project with detailed user story mapping and business requirement mapping to understand the distributor's needs thoroughly.
In collaboration with the distributor, we developed a UX/UI prototype to ensure the software was intuitive and user-friendly.
The project scope was divided into Sprints, allowing for iterative development and timely delivery.
The new software system has equipped the BWT distributor to initiate and manage their franchise development plan with confidence. The centralized system has streamlined operations, reducing potential errors and improving overall efficiency. The scalable nature of the software supports anticipated growth, enabling the distributor to expand their franchise network without encountering operational bottlenecks. Moreover, the user-friendly design has been well-received by administrative users and future field technicians, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.
